State Audit of Vietnam works towards sustainable development goals
(VOVWORLD) - The State Audit of Vietnam on Wednesday will host the 14th Assembly of the Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI), themed “Environmental Auditing for Sustainable Development”.
Attendees will discuss environmental challenges and ways to leverage environmental auditing for sustainable development. SAV Deputy Chief Auditor Nguyen Tuan Anh said: "The seventh symposium on environmental auditing for sustainable development will highlight ASOSAI’s efforts and commitment to achieving the UN’s sustainable development goals. It will approve the “Hanoi Declaration”, a document summarizing the most important results of the event and reflecting the commitment and actions of the ASOSAI community for the organization’s development objectives for the 2016-2021 period."
ASOSAI 14 is expected to provide audit agencies with new policies and measures for resolving environmental issues and fostering sustainable development.
