Sun Flower Festival spreads sympathy for young cancer patients
(VOVWORLD) -The Sun Flower Festival was held in Dam Sen Park, Ho Chi Minh city, on Sunday, to raise fund and spread the message of sympathy and support for young cancer patients.
The program, organized by Tuoi Tre newspaper and the Vietnam Youth Federation, has received support from more than 300,000 people, who shared stories and sun flower images of on social network. During the festival, philanthropists donated more than 300,000 USD for the Fund in Support of Cancer Patients. On this occasion, 77 scholarships called Thuy’s Dream were given to students who have cancer.
