(VOVWORLD) - The Syrian army began airstrikes on Tuesday targeting southern Daraa province to cut rebel supply routes from the Jordan border.
State news agency SANA said the army was providing fire cover for the advance troops in the southeastern sector of Daraa. The Syrian army has already retaken areas in southwestern Daraa.
