(VOVworld) – A temple dedicated to late Party General Secretary Le Duan was inaugurated on Saturday in Cam Xuyen district, Ha Tinh province. President Truong Tan Sang attended the event.

Le Duan was born in Trieu Phong district, Quang Tri province but his home village is in Cam Xuyen district, Ha Tinh province. During his revolutionary career, the former leader had special sentiment towards Ha Tinh. Local leaders and people built the temple, whose construction started in 2011, to honor the great leader.

While in Ha Tinh, President Truong Tan Sang worked with key provincial leaders. He expressed pleasure over Ha Tinh’s development, high growth rate and successful implementation of a program to build new rural areas. The President said he believed that Ha Tinh will achieve greater success in poverty reduction and socio-economic development.
