(VOVworld) – On Wednesday, the Hanoi Heart Hospital and Thanh Hoa Provincial Military Headquarter offered free medical check-ups and gifts for more than 300 people under preferential treatment policy living in Dong Tien, Dinh Tan communes.

The practical program aims to pay tribute to war invalids, relatives of national revolution contributors, and Vietnamese heroic mothers on the occasion of the 2016 Lunar New Year.

On the same day, the Vietnam Journalists’ Association and the VINGROUP Joint Stock Company granted 500 gift sets to poor households and ethnic minority people in Ham Thuan Bac and Bac Binh district in Binh Thuan province. The VINGROUP will present gifts worth more than 1.3 million USD to help poor people nationwide.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hai Chau district, Da Nang City distributed more than 500 gift sets for disadvantaged households in 13 precincts. The Labor Unions of industrial parks and processing zones in Da Nang have presented 1,160 gifts to workers to help them have better traditional Tet holiday.
