Tet gifts presented to poor, policy beneficiary families

The National Assembly delegation of Quang Ngai received Tet gifts worth 352,000 USD for Quang Ngai residents. Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communication and Education Vo Van Thuong presented 10 Tet gifts to policy beneficiary families in Quang Ngai province. In a working visit to Nghe An province on Monday, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Uong Chu Luu visited and presented gifts to needy people and Phuc Son border guards.

On Monday, the Korean organization KFHI delivered 100 gifts to underprivileged children in Vinh Tuong district, Vinh Phuc province. A unit of the Hanoi Red Cross Society held a ceremony to hand over 9 charity houses and 200 Tet gifts to poor households and Agent Orange/Dioxin victims in 6 communes of Lap Thach district.

The same day, an art performance themed “Tet for poor children” was held in Hanoi to honor children suffering from serious illnesses and individuals and organizations who have helped poor children in past years.
