Thai Culture Days open in Vietnam

(VOVworld) – Thai Culture Days opened in Vietnam on Thursday, marking the 40th anniversary of Vietnam-Thailand diplomatic ties. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Thai ambassador to Vietnam Tanasak Patimaprakorn said that over the past 40 years the two countries consistently improved their relationship and been strategic partners in security, economics, trade, and labor. Thai Culture Days increases mutual understanding and deepens bilateral relations.

Earlier, an exhibition on Thailand’s culture and arts opened in Hanoi. Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Huynh Vinh Ai said: “During this event, Vietnamese audiences can enjoy art performances by Thai art troupes at the Hanoi Opera House and in Quang Ninh province, and explore traditional Thai handicrafts, sculpture, and cuisine at the culture and arts exhibition”.
The exhibition will be open until August 1st.
