Thai Constitutional Court this week dismissed Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra and nine cabinet members over abuse of power and constitutional violations. The move has plunged the restive country deeper into crisis. A spokesperson for the Red Shirts Thawanut Wichaidit said thousands of Ms. Yingluck’s supporters rallied on the outskirts of Bangkok to protest against the anti-government demonstrators to enable their unelected Prime Minister to take power. Meanwhile, the opposition are attempting to oust the rest of cabinet members to pave the way for the new unelected government to take power.
