(VOVworld) - President Barack Obama has said the U.S. will not take military action over the Ukraine crisis. Speaking on NBC 7 on Wednesday, Obama said there are better measures to resolve the crisis and Ukrainian people agree that military engagements with Russia will not benefit Kiev. He warned that the US and its allies are ready to impose tougher economic sanctions on Russia.
In related news, British Prime Minister David Cameron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel agreed to strengthen EU sanctions on Russia.
