The world public reacts against Iran's uranium enrichment

The world public is reacting against Iran’s confirmation that it has started enriching uranium in the Fordo Fuel Enrichment Plant, deep inside the mountains near the central city of Qom. US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Tuesday that Tehran’s move was especially troubling. She urged Iran to immediately cease its uranium enrichment and return to serious talks with Western powers over its nuclear program. Russia also expressed worries about Iran’s move. The Russian Foreign Ministry has urged Tehran to work closely with the International Atomic Energy Agency. Meanwhile, India and China stand for Iran, saying that the country has the right to develop its civilian nuclear program. China has also rejected US sanctions against Iran’s energy.
