(VOVworld) - National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan arrived in Prague on Tuesday to start an official visit to the Czech Republic at the invitation of President of the Senate of the Czech Parliament Milan Stech.

The four-day visit looks to strengthen the traditional friendship and multi-faceted cooperation between Vietnam and the Czech Republic, including the collaboration between the Vietnamese National Assembly and the Czech legislative bodies.

After her arrival at Vaclav Havel International Airport in Prague, Chairwoman Ngan later visited the Vietnamese Embassy in the Czech Republic. She asked the embassy staff and Vietnamese community there to promote bilateral ties in the future. Ms. Ngan urged the embassy staff to improve their qualification to meet the increasing demand of international integration.
