Top legislator welcomes Cambodia’s NA Second Vice President
(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnamese National Assembly will closely cooperate with the National Assembly and Senate of Cambodia to further expand and improve the efficiency of bilateral collaboration at regional and international parliamentary forums.

At a reception for Second Vice President of the Cambodian NA Khuon Sudary in Hanoi on Friday, NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan said the two sides will work together to supervise the implementation of international treaties and agreements signed by the two governments to help effectively realize their cooperation deals.
Ms. Khuon Sudary said Cambodia is making concerted efforts to step up national development to bring prosperity and wealth to its people. She added Cambodia always keeps in mind the great support of the Vietnamese people during the past struggle against the Pol Pot genocidal regime, helping the country revive and develop. She described the state visit to Cambodia by Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong last month as a manifestation of the continuous development of the traditional bilateral ties.
