Tourist attractions in Hanoi, HCM city crowded
(VOVworld) – Tourist attractions and recreational areas in Hanoi are packed by visitors these days. The number of visitors to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum has increased considerably.
Tran Quoc Tuan of Thai Nguyen province, said: “I’m taking my wife and children to visit the HCM Mausoleum to pay tribute to Uncle Ho. I’m proud of Vietnam’s steady development.” Nguyen Thi Dung, a visitor to Hoan Kiem lake in downtown Hanoi, said: “I’m very excited with the celebratory atmosphere of national reunification day. We should do more to contribute to Vietnam’s development and defense.”
HCM city is decorated with flowers and flags to welcome this important event. Nguyen Trong Vung from Hanoi said: “I myself was a soldier involved in the historic Ho Chi Minh campaign and I’m very happy to visit HCM city these days. I’m proud that we were able to obtain national independence.” Pham Thi Lan also from Hanoi shares her feeling: “HCM city is beautifully decorated. The city has changed a lot with more high-rise buildings and improved living conditions.”
