(VOVworld) – Vietnam’s Thua Thien – Hue province welcomed 50,000 tourists during the first week of the Lunar New Year, 33,000 of them from overseas. 30,000 tourists, including 10,000 foreigners, visited the Hue Imperial City complex during the first 3 days alone.

35,000 people, including 22,000 foreign tourists, arrived in the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau, bringing in revenue of 8 million USD, up 30% from the same period last year.

Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark in the northern mountain province of Ha Giang received 5,500 visitors, with the number of foreigners growing 10%.

Phong Nha – Ke Bang, a national park and UNESCO World Heritage Site in the central province of Quang Binh, attracted 15,000 tourists during Tet.
