The fair, which runs until Sunday, attracts more than 100 booths of domestic and foreign enterprises.

During the event, brand names and consumption of tra fish and other seafood are promoted, targeting the northern region of Vietnam and exports.

Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Vu Van Tam said: “The Mekong Delta has more advantages in aquaculture than from farming in areas such as rice and fruits. The fair offers an opportunity for the region and businesses to capitalize on advantages in order to grow sustainably.”

As part of the fair, a food court is organized to introduce products made from freshwater fish, fish sauce, and cooking oil made from tra fish.
