(VOVworld) - Transportation infrastructure is a lucrative market in Vietnam and the equitisation of State-owned enterprises is creating great opportunities for Korean businesses, said Vietnamese Ambassador to the Republic of Korea Pham Huu Chi at a workshop in Seoul on Thursday.

Mr. Chi said that a growing GDP and participation in bilateral and regional free trade agreements, have turned Vietnam into an attractive destination for foreign investors, who have already invested more than 310 billion USD. Ambassador Chi said Vietnam will continue to improve its market economy institutions, legal framework, and administrative procedures, and increase the quality of its human resources and infrastructure under the public-private partnership (PPP) model.
