Turkey, Russia, Iran pledge cooperation in Syria issue
(VOVWORLD) - Russia, Iran, and Turkey agreed to hold a Syrian People's Congress to find a permanent solution to the Syria crisis, Russian President Vladimir Putin told reporters after Wednesday tripartite meeting in Sochi, Russia.
The three countries also vowed to boost cooperation in fighting terrorism, particularly the Islamic State. The Syrian government supported the idea and called for constitutional reform and a national free election, Putin said.
