Turkey willing to provide US with preacher Gülen-linked info

(VOVWORLD) - Turkish Justice Minister Abdulhamit Gul said Turkey is willing to give a visiting US probe team documents linked to investigations into Gülen movement, a religious group Turkey accuses of orchestrating a coup attempt in 2016.

Minister Gul said the visit was very important and the investigation’s results will affect the extradition of US-based Muslim preacher Fethullah Gülen. Turkish police on Friday launched nationwide raids to detain nearly 150 people, including military personnel, suspected of ties to the group supporting Gülen.
