(VOVworld) - Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Omer Onhon is on a visit to Vietnam for the 3rd regular political consultation with Vietnamese Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Phuong Nga.

At a meeting on Wednesday, the two sides discussed the political and social situations in their two countries. They also expressed their pleasure at the fast development of various levels of cooperation between Vietnam and Turkey in recent years, especially in trade. The two diplomats agreed to encourage the exchange of delegations, cooperation in trade, investment, agriculture, education and training, and accelerate the process of signing a double taxation avoidance agreement, and agreements regarding aviation services and marine transport. They agreed to support each other in international forums and discussed regional and international issues of mutual concern.
