Two Koreas agree to live broadcast historic April 27 summit

(VOVWORLD) - South Korea and North Korea reached an agreement Monday on protocols, security measures, and press coverage of the inter-Korean summit scheduled to take place in the border truce village of Panmunjom on Friday.

A South Korean Presidential Office spokesperson said both sides have agreed to a live broadcast of the summit. North Korea will send an advance team to Panmunjom on Wednesday to make final preparations for the summit.

On Monday, the North Korean army halted propaganda broadcasts across the border in response to a similar move by South Korea.
