Two Koreas to resume military contact
(VOVWORLD) - The two Koreas on Thursday agreed to fully restore military communication lines after a high-level military meeting.

The military officials also discussed the trial disarmament of the Panmunjom truce village to ease tension in border areas.
The South Korean Defense Ministry said the talks focused on implementing the agreements reached at an earlier summit between President Moon Jae-in and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, in which they vowed to reduce military tensions and eliminate the danger of war.
The discussions were the first general-level talks between the 2 Koreas since 2007.
