(VOVworld) – Two Ukrainian Army airplanes were shot down Tuesday following the bombing of north and north-eastern Debaltseve. Despite calls from the international community, conflicts in eastern Ukraine continued to escalate, costing the Kiev government 5 to 10 million USD per day. On Wednesday Chairperson-in-Office of the Organisation of Security and Co-operation in Europe, Ivica Dacic, called on the warring sides to cease fire for at least 3 days, to allow civilians to leave the war zone and pave the way for a long-term ceasefire, based on the Minsk Accord which was signed last September.
