UK cabinet backs draft Brexit agreement
(VOVWORLD) - The British cabinet approved a draft agreement on Britain’s withdrawal from the European Union at a meeting on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Theresa May called this a crucial and perilous step towards the official adoption of a Brexit agreement. Even though the British cabinet has approved the draft, the deal still needs the approval of the British Parliament.
The EU’s chief negotiator Michel Barnier said the draft is evidence of “decisive progress” in the negotiations and a necessary prelude to a future deal.
The Governments of Germany and France applauded the progress.
