UNICEF Chief Representative presents gifts to disadvantaged children in Da Nang

(VOVworld) - Chief Representative of the UN Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) in Vietnam Youssouf Abdel Jelil visited and presented gifts to Agent Orange (AO)/Dioxin victims in Da Nang on Tuesday.

In recent years, UNICEF has raised around 330,000 USD to build facilities and train human resources for Agent Orange victims in Da Nang. UNICEF Chief Representative Youssouf Abdel Jelil, said: “This is the second time I have visited Agent Orange victims in Da Nang city. In the coming years, UNICEF will mobilize more resources from the UN Fund in the US and use our fund to support disadvantaged children in Da Nang”.
