US and Cuba to hold talks on normalizing airline service

They are expected to hold the first technological talk on aviation safety and security. President Barack Obama’s administration is taking steps to normalize ties with Cuba. The United States wants to schedule flights to Cuba as soon as possible, Rivkin said. US carriers like American Airlines and JetBlue Airways expect higher demand and increased revenue from Americans wishing to visit Cuba.
