(VOVworld)- The 6^th meeting of the US-China Strategic and Economic Dialogue will be held on Wednesday and Thursday in Beijing, with Secretary of State John Kerry and Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew representing the US and State Councilor Yang Jiechi and Vice Premier Wang Yang representing China. The meeting will focus on regional and global opportunities and challenges in bilateral relations between the two countries. Exchange rate policies, market accessibility, network security, and territorial disputes in Asia will also be addressed at this meeting. While in Beijing, Kerry and Chinese Vice Premier Liu Yandong will co-chair the 5^th annual US-China Consultation on People-to-People Exchange (CPE). William Burns, US Deputy Secretary of State and Zhang Ye Sui, Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister on Tuesday co-chaired the 4^th annual meeting of the US-China strategic security dialogue. The Xinhua news agency on Monday quoted Zheng Ze Guang, Chinese Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, as saying that the annual dialogue aims to strengthen mutual trust, address disagreements, and promote the new type of great power relations.
