(VOVworld) - The US military is now conducting cyber attacks on the Islamic State group to limit its communications and ability to reach potential new recruits.
US Air Force Major General Peter Gersten, deputy commander for operations and intelligence, said the Defense Department has effectively used cyber techniques in the fight against IS.
One team, comprised of about 65 people of the US Cyber Command, is currently in charge of operations against IS networks.
