(VOVworld) – The talks of Iranian and EU deputy chief negotiators have made progress on all the issues relating to the implementation of a temporary agreement reached late last November on Iran’s nuclear program, said Michael Mann, a spokesman for EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton, on Friday. On the same day, in Washington, State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said that the expert-level talks on Iran's nuclear program has made positive progress.

Earlier, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said differences between Tehran and the P5+1 group over the deal implementation were resolved. The P5+1 group include Britain, China, France, Russia, the United States and Germany. The third talks of Iranian and P5+1 experts wrapped up in Geneva on Friday and reached consensus on pending issues. Parties involved are likely to issue statements soon but the newly reached deal needs the ratifications of the involved parties before officially coming into effect.
