(VOVworld) – The US has reserved 265 million USD under foreign military funding to support Pakistan to fight terrorism and rebels. Pakistani media on Saturday reported that the money will help Pakistan improve its military capability to encounter rebels and launch operations to fight pirates.
A report by the US State Department said Pakistan has cooperated with the US in fighting terrorism since 2001 and 600 terrorists were captured. The US has maintained close military relations with Pakistan. Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will visit the US on October 21.
