US, Japan, and South Korea meet for North Korea’s nuclear program

(VOVworld) –Defense Ministers from the US, Japan, and South Korea are scheduled to meet on the sidelines of the Asia Security Summit in Singapore at the end of this month to discuss co-operation in dealing with North Korea’s nuclear program.

The South Korean government is preparing for one-and-one meetings between its Defense Minister Kim Kwan-jin, US Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel, and Chinese Defense Minister Chang Wanquan. The main topic of the South Korea-China Defense Ministers’ meeting will be North Korea’s potential for another nuclear test.
