(VOVWORLD) - US security adviser John Bolton said on Sunday that the US and Russia may hold new talks on weapons control and suggested that China should join.

He said the US is seeking to enhance its missile defense system as China is improving its nuclear capabilities.
The US will finalize its withdrawal from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Force Treaty in August. Russian President Vladimir Putin has responded by stepping back from the Treaty.
