US, North Korea continue to advance ties
(VOVWORLD) - US Vice President Mike Pence has said the United States will not be "sidelined or sidetracked" in negotiations to dismantle North Korea's nuclear weapons program.
Pence made the remark in an interview with Fox News Channel on Wednesday (Vietnam time) as skepticism about North Korea's willingness to denuclearize has grown following last month's summit between US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
The United States and North Korea are still in talks to set a date for working-level dialogue over the repatriation of remains of American troops killed during the 1950-53 Korean War.
