US President Donald Trump and  Vietnamese Ambassador Ha Kim Ngoc.

The US President took this opportunity to give thanks for the warm welcome the Vietnamese State and people gave him during his visit to Vietnam to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Leaders’ Meeting in November 2017, and to extend his greetings to Vietnam’s leaders and people.

Ambassador Ngoc conveyed the greetings of Vietnam’s senior leaders to the US President. He said the Vietnam-US Comprehensive Partnership is developing more strongly and dynamically than ever, driven by mutual understanding and effective cooperation in many areas. He said Vietnam is ready to work with the US in the interests of both peoples, for peace, stability, cooperation, and development in the region and the world.
