(VOVworld) – The US and Russia is working closely to restore ceasefire in Syria which has been violated constantly recent days with bloodiest attacks in Apeppo, north Syria.

White House spokesman Josh Earnest said on Friday that the ceasefire violation is deteriorating efforts for political negotiations on Syria.

Earlier, Russia and the US agreed on a “silent” period in northern Latakia province and suburbs of Damascus in Syria from midnight on April 29 (Syrian time). Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his US counterpart John Kerry held a phone call to discuss way to enforce ceasefire in Syria.
