US urges sanctions on Iran missile program
(VOVWORLD) -The US is urging its European allies and others to impose sanctions on Iran to curb its missile program, which the US calls a threat to world peace and security.

Brian Hook, senior policy advisor to US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, told reporters in Riyadh on Saturday that Washington is urging nations around the world to sanction any individual and entity associated with Iran's missile program, and it has also been a big part of discussions between the US and Europe. Iran's missile program will be a major topic in talks on Sunday between Pompeo and leaders from Saudi Arabia and Israel.
New Secretary of State Pompeo arrived in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, the first stop of his 3-day trip to the Middle East.
