Mr. Arreaza said both sides have listened to each other adding that there have been moments of tension, profound differences, but there are shared concerns. He said he hopes they can build on this dialogue as proposed by the State Department.

The foreign minister also mentioned the possible formation of an office of interests in the US and another in Venezuela after the rupture of bilateral relations as part of the talks.
