(VOVworld) - Vice Chief of the Defense Staff of the UK and Northern Ireland Air Chief Marshal Stuart Peach is on a working visit to Vietnam.

During a reception on Wednesday the Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army General Do Ba Ty called for increased cooperation in maritime security, training, cyber security, and information technology. He highlighted defense and military cooperation between the two countries in recent years and called for greater efforts to implement the Memorandum of Understanding on bilateral defense cooperation signed in November 2011.
