(VOVworld) – The Party and State have promulgated many programs to take care of ethnic minority people by constructing roads, schools, and accommodation, supplying safe water, supporting minority students, and prioritizing training for minority personnel.

At a meeting in Hanoi on Monday for a delegation of outstanding minority youths from Lao Cai Province, Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh said she hoped young minority people would excel in their study to contribute more to the nation.

She asked Lao Cai provincial leaders to pay more attention to education for the younger generation and to create the best conditions for them to attend school.

Lao Cai was asked to acquire more resources to build roads and schools, and to improve local living standards.
