Vice President: Vietnam treasures ties with Australia

(VOVWORLD) - Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh on Friday participated in various discussions at the 2018 Global Women Summit in Australia on economic development, the emergence of populism in various countries, and economic connectivity.

Later the same day, the Vice President visited New South Wales University where she said Vietnam is ready to facilitate Australian education establishments to boost cooperation with Vietnam.

While visiting the Climate Change Center at the university, Thinh said Vietnam is one of the countries hardest hit by climate change, so it supports all international efforts to tackle it. Ms. Thinh also met with Vietnamese students who are studying at the university.

Visiting Sydney University, Ms Thinh praised their cooperation with Vietnamese universities. She also met Marie Bashir, the sponsor of the Forever Learning Fund.

The same day, the Vice President attended the inauguration of the Vietnam Center and the “Weaving Realm” event which introduced imperial attires of the post-Le dynasty.
