(VOVworld) - Vietnam is regarded as a target market for Israeli businesses, said Arie Zief, Vice President of the Federation of Israeli Chamber of Commerce at a recent conference, themed “Business and Success in Vietnam”, in Tel Aviv.
The Israeli business community has been keen on seeking investment and business opportunities in Vietnam in recent years, said Zief, adding that Vietnam was an attractive investment destination in the eyes of Israeli investors operating in the spheres of agriculture, water treatment, energy, and high-tech.
Sharing Zief’s view, Director of the Israel-Vietnam Corporation, Rafi Kaufman, said that Vietnam was one of the top six emerging markets, citing the country’s large population and increasing income. He forecasted that there would be 17 million young consumers in Vietnam in 10 years time.
