Vietnam Airlines begins new short-distance snack

(VOVWORLD) -National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines has started serving economy class passengers dry snacks on some domestic and short-distance international flights from this month.

The food will be varied every two months for cater to passengers’ different tastes. Dry snacks will be served on some Hanoi-HCMC routes; on flights between Hanoi and locations such as Phu Quoc, Nha Trang, and Da Lat; and on flights between HCM city and Hai Phong, Vinh, and Thanh Hoa. The new dining service is also available on the Hanoi-Luang Prabang and Hanoi-Siem Riep routes. For the main Hanoi-HCM city route, economy class passengers will be served sandwiches for breakfast, and regular hot meals for lunch and dinner. Dry snacks are popular among international carriers such as Delta, American Airlines, BA, Air France, Japan Airlines, and Korean Air.
