(VOVworld) - An Airbus A350 landed at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi on Friday, marking Vietnam Airlines’ official operation of direct service between Hanoi and Paris.

Seeing the flight off from Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris on Thursday, Claude Morel of the French Ministry of Transport congratulated Vietnam’s national flag carrier on becoming one of the leading airlines in the South East Asia by continually modernising its fleet and improving its service. He hailed the cooperation between Vietnam and France and the partnership between Vietnam Airlines and Air France. Vietnamese Ambassador to France Nguyen Ngoc Son said he is delighted with Vietnam Airlines’ improved service. Son said France is one of Vietnam’s top European partners and Vietnam is a favourite destination for nearly 300,000 French tourists each year.
