Vietnam – an important destination for Japanese businesses

(VOVworld) -  Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has affirmed that the Vietnamese government always supports and facilitates the operation of Japanese enterprises.

At a reception in Hanoi on Tuesday for Takahashi Kyohei and Nakamura Kuniharu, the co-Presidents of the Japan-Vietnam Economic Committee under the Japanese Business Federation (Keidanren), Prime Minister Phuc praised their contributions to boosting economic, trade, and investment cooperation between the two countries.

Mr. Phuc said he hopes that in the future the Japanese federation will help create big waves of investment in Vietnam and that the Vietnamese government wishes for cooperation within the framework of the Vietnam - Japan Joint Initiative to enter the next level. The Vietnamese government will continue to improve its investment and business climate and consider the successes of Japanese investors as one of Vietnam’s achievements.

The two Japanese leaders reassured the Prime Minister of Vietnam’s importance to Japanese businesses, adding that achievements reflect efforts by both governments and peoples. They said Vietnam’s improved investment and business environment plays a key role in developing bilateral ties.
