Vietnam and South Africa boost cooperation in training and scientific research

(VOVworld) – Ta Ngoc Tan, director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Public Administration has met with Christopher Matlhako, the South African Communist Party (SACP)’s Secretary of External Relations during his recent visit to South Africa.

The two sides discussed training of managerial leaders as well as the socio-economic situation of the two countries. They agreed to boost cooperation between the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Public Administration and South Africa’s Chris Hani Institute in training, research and academic exchange. Mr. Ta Ngoc Tan also had discussion with groups of South African members of parliaments on Vietnam’s achievements in socio-economic development, policies of integration and promoting international relations. South African MPs expressed this wish to learn more about Vietnam’s experience in poverty reduction, sustainable development and social equality. The two sides agreed to enhance cooperation between scientists, policy makers and training and education experts.
