Vietnam attends 19th World Festival of Youth and Students
(VOVWORLD) -The Vietnamese delegation including 150 outstanding young people is attending the 19th World Festival of Youth and Students, which opened on Sunday night in Olympic Park, Sochi, Russia.

The festival organized by the World Federation of Democratic Youth (WFDY) aims to bring together the youth of the world community around the idea of justice, the strengthening of international relations, and the development of inter-ethnic and intercultural relations.
The Vietnamese delegation led by Le Quoc Phong, First Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Youth Union participate in most events: workshops, bilateral meetings, youth exhibitions, exchanges, friendship stalls, and an art program on today’s Vietnam. The delegation aims to introduce Vietnam’s youth organizations and their role in national construction and defense.
The key events of the festival take place in Sochi and sideline activities are held in 17 other cities of Russia until Sunday.
