(VOVworld) - Vietnamese Defense Minister General Phung Quang Thanh led a senior military delegation to attend the 9th ASEAN Defense Ministers’ Meeting (ADMM-9) and the opening of the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition 2015 (LIMA 2015) in Malaysia from March 14-18. Vietnam’s attendance at the ADMM-9 demonstrates its proactive and responsible participation in areas of cooperation within the ADMM framework with a view to implementing Vietnam’s defense cooperation initiatives in ASEAN. Vietnam’s participation at the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition 2015 aims to further promote bilateral cooperation between Vietnam and Malaysia.
