Themed “Impact of Public Radio and Television Stations on Society”, the festival attracts the participation of representatives from 43 countries around the world including Radio the Voice of Vietnam and Vietnam Television. The aim of the festival is to highlight the role of communications, particularly radio and television in all aspects of life and to strengthen links between radio and television stations to better cater to the public demand for information.

Within the festival’s framework, VOV signed a cooperative agreement with Cuba’s Institute for Radio and Television, under which both sides will exchange radio and television programs to increase mutual understanding.
