Vietnam, Australia cooperate in training lawyers

(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam and Australia will bolster exchanges and support each other to improve professional capacity for lawyers from both sides, according to a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the Vietnam Bar Federation (VBF) and the Australian Dispute Resolution Centre (ADRC) in Sydney on Thursday.

They will work to enhance cooperation in information sharing, delegation exchanges, training in trade conciliation, and organization of conferences to better lawyers’ practice. At the signing ceremony, VBF President Do Ngoc Thinh stressed on lawyers’ role in addressing commercial disputes, saying that professional training for lawyers in the field of conciliation is important, especially when trade conciliation is new in Vietnam.
