During his meeting with the Speaker of the House of Representatives Tony Smith, on Wednesday, both agreed on bilateral commitment towards strategic partnership next year. Tony Smith expressed his view to uphold peaceful measures to solve the East Sea issue, in line with international law, especially the 1982 UN Convention on the Law of the Sea.
