Vietnam, Belarus help businesses access other country’s market: President Quang

(VOVWORLD) - President Tran Dai Quang held separate talks in Minsk on Tuesday with Vladimir Andreichenko, Chairman of the House of Representatives of Belarus’s National Assembly, and Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov as part of his visit to Belarus.

At the meeting with Mr. Andreichenko, President Quang called on the two legislative bodies to oversee the implementation of the free trade agreement between Vietnam and the Eurasian Economic Union and the protocol supporting the production of motor vehicles in Vietnam.

Mr. Quang said both sides will work to give the other side’s enterprises better access their market and create breakthroughs in economic and trade cooperation.

Chairman Andreichenko said the National Assembly of Belarus has been doing its best to promote friendship and collaboration with Vietnam.

During his meeting with Prime Minister Kobyakov, President Quang said he is pleased at the fruitful development of the traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries, considering it a firm foundation for both to advance their cooperation in economics, trade, and investment.

Prime Minister Kobyakov said the Vietnam-Eurasian Economic Union Free Trade Agreement and the protocol supporting the production of motor vehicles in Vietnam have benefited their economic, trade, and investment ties.
